If you're not sure, don't buy the dress
When I think back to my prom, the main emotion I remember feeling is "why did I choose this dress?" Add to that numerous snotty remarks about how I looked like I should be walking down the aisle, and you pretty much have a recipe for disaster - or at least a couple of teary episodes over roast beef (which did occur).
After that fateful night, I did a lot of wistful thinking about what I should have worn to the event. For a while I was convinced I should have had a seamstress make me an emerald green column dress with a massive slit up one leg. Anyways, I thought I was past the whole "if only" thing (being that my high school graduation was many years ago), but then I found this at PromGirl

Candy Pop Dress
The dress is fascinating on so many levels. Firstly, it's made of 95% nylon and 5% metallic fabric. Secondly, it comes in three polka dot colour combinations that have me completely sold: lime with orange and sky, periwinkle and blueberry, and guava pink and lemon. And lastly, it's one size fits all. Wow.
