Puella Flared Corduroys

I must admit that I harbour a secret fondness for corduroys, having bought my first pair in grade seven, when the "vintage" look hit my junior high. I don't think I've owned a pair since then, but this variation by Puella (one of my favourite designers at the moment) really caught my eye. Let's face it - people look good in flared pants. I'm not arguing for massive bellbottoms here, but something a step above a bootleg does a body good. Sizing for these is small/medium/large, too, which I always enjoy.

Anyone who can combine nautical and girly like this is ok in my books. And the bow is even a little bit edgy, because it's not droopy; it's crisp. Well played, Diane von Furstenberg!

Flip Flops by Sha

Cutest flip flops I've ever seen. It's hard to get the oversized flower thing right, but Sha nails it here. The decoration is leather, too.

Sometimes the best pieces of clothing are the truly effortless ones. Imagine wearing this as you nip out to grab an iced cappucino (a.k.a. my guilty pleasure of summer 2005) or on a ferry ride somewhere. Yes, I'm in full-on warm-weather fantasizing mode. Can you tell?
